Greeters

Greeters are people chosen to reflect the warmth and welcome of Christ himself. Always conscious of Christ’s words "For I was…a stranger and you invited me in," (Matthew 25:35) the greeter serves not only as a Minister of Hospitality, but also as a Liturgical Minister. Greeters are usually the first official representative of the church that people meet when they arrive.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Greeters are friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the church. Our greeters are the happy faces our parishioners see when they enter the church.

We are always looking for more greeters. This position requires someone who enjoys meeting new people and saying hello. It requires the volunteer to come 1/2 hr prior to mass to greet. You can sign up for one mass a month or each week. If you are attending mass already this is a great way to get connected to our family. 

Students who need to obtain community service hour for school can volunteer as a greeter and get their hours.
